My name is Yolanda and I am a Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT) at Spilove Psychotherapy. I understand that showing up for couples or family therapy is one of the hardest first steps; it’s half the battle! And I appreciate that you value your relationship to grow together through the journey.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe that communication is the heartbeat and the growing edge of all relationships.

This is why I want to help you as a couple not only identify how you are communicating but work to disarm and repair any conflicting communication patterns so you can both create more meaningful interactions. In our time together, I will walk you through role play exercises where you will find your voices and learn how to express yourselves in a way that helps your partner see and meet you. We will work on worksheets to repair your relationship after arguments and practice how to resolve conflict through active listening and reflection skills.
